Dr. Steven Richardson
Dr. Steven Richardson specializes in Mohs Micrographic Surgery, and General Dermatology
While attending Texas Tech University, Dr. Richardson played 4 years of Division-I baseball and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. After finishing his internship in Internal Medicine at Oakwood Hospital in Detroit, MI, he then completed his residency training in Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY. Dr. Richardson was then awarded a fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Procedural Dermatology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, TX. While training under Dr. R. Stan Taylor, Dr. Richardson developed his skills in both Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Surgery.
An accredited, board certified Dermatologist and diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He has co-authored and published research regarding the effects of stress on the skin and has twice presented at the annual American Academy of Dermatology meetings.
